We have just released Mocca v0.0.1 - a package for modelling carbon capture processes in Julia.
Mocca is:
- A framework for simulating pressure and temperature swing adsorption processes for CO2 capture
- built on top of our popular open-source packages Jutul and JutulDarcy
Current features include:
- An example 4-stage vacuum swing adsorption process for CO2 capture, from a two-component flue gas, using Zeolite 13X and a dual-site Langmuir model
- Capabilities for Optimisation and History matching of input parameters
- Support for JSON based parameter inputs
- Support for .csv output of results
Future development goals are to make it much more general and expand to other systems - Adsorption capture from wet gas, Direct air capture, More complicated process configurations etc. etc.
