DispersionRelations.jl

This is my first package, a small utility for estimating complex frequencies of exponentially growing or damping phenomena.

To illustrate, this package provides a function to estimate the slopes of the dashed lines:

Computational physicists may find this useful for estimating dispersion relations of instabilities in the linear phase.

Thanks for the encouragement! It’s registered but there’s a three day waiting period. In the meantime you can always add it by URL, I think something like

pkg> add https://github.com/johnbcoughlin/DispersionRelations.jl

should work.
