Finishing my masters degree in computational science with a thesis implementing a the Parareal algorithm from parallel-in-time integration using high-performance methods (including GPU and distributed computing) to solve equations of motion. More specifically, I want to find the momentum distribution of massless, spin-0 quasi-particles created during and from inflationary cosmology; these cosmologies are analogous Bose-Einstein condensates.
Previous research includes computationally investigating the role of microscopic molecular structure (quadrupolar) in emergent quantum many-body phenomena of a Bose-Einstein condensate of rigid-rotor molecules. Spoilers: there’s a second order transition between the uniaxial and biaxial liquid-crystal-like nematic phases.
