Graduating from Seattle University June 2020.
I have been using Julia in my undergraduate research since 2018.
My research is a continuation of a paper by John Wilkening and David Ambrose, Computation of Time-Periodic Solutions of the Benjamin-Ono Equation. I have used their work as the jumping off point for searching for these nontrivial time-periodic solutions for the Whitham equation. This has lead me to working with libraries related to pseudospectral methods for solving nonlinear water wave PDEs and optimization routines for creating spectrally accurate initial conditions.
