# Why Julia machine learning is so unfriendly? Very "unsmooth" experience from foolish guy

Other people will be able to chime in on the specifics of your problem, but we recognize that its a frustrating situation.

There is some discussion tabular formats for ML models [here](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/taking-fitting-seriously/13281/37) and there are a number of works in progress to make the construction of ML models from a variety of table types seamless.
