# Why is Julia so great?

for “wave” a short example like [Taking advantage of Apple M1? - #9 by LaurentPlagne](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/taking-advantage-of-apple-m1/93310/9) can be made target agnostic (CPU/GPU) very easily. I think it is a unique feature of Julia (and the online GLMakie animation is fun too).
