Why does [`any!`](https://docs.julialang.org/en/v1/base/collections/#Base.any!) exist? Why not just broadcast or map `any`?

It’s not really a broadcast — it’s a [`mapslices`](https://docs.julialang.org/en/v1/base/arrays/#Base.mapslices) sort of operation. That can be expressed as a broadcast/map over `eachslice` these days, but it predates that by quite some time and I wouldn’t be surprised if `any!` were faster.
