# Who is maintainer of the General registry?

We cannot register new package versions before that is merged.

Do you have a better idea?
I think this is overall a grown system, fast communications on slack – but they vanish after a short while, general discussions here, issues and PRs on GitHub.
The pig-registration channel has been a good place to fast discuss especially new packages, their names and why they might need improvements.
Maybe somethings also happen on discord or other platforms, I am also not on.

Would be nice to have a means of notifying a maintainer directly from the PR on Github.
