Parts of the multi-threading API were upgraded from experimental to “stable with caveats” in [https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/pull/35686](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/pull/35686)

Looks like this will be in Julia 1.5: [https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/blob/v1.5.0-rc1/NEWS.md#multi-threading-changes](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/blob/v1.5.0-rc1/NEWS.md#multi-threading-changes)

The multi-threading section of the manual lists some important caveats: [https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/blob/v1.5.0-rc1/doc/src/manual/multi-threading.md#caveats](https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/blob/v1.5.0-rc1/doc/src/manual/multi-threading.md#caveats)
