I wanted to consult the status of some web related functionality in the Julia ecosystem.

- For HTTP: [HTTP.jl](https://github.com/JuliaWeb/HTTP.jl)
- For HTML parser: [Gumbo.jl](https://github.com/JuliaWeb/Gumbo.jl)

Potentially related:

- [Interact.jl](https://github.com/JuliaGizmos/Interact.jl)
- [Reactive.jl](https://github.com/JuliaGizmos/Reactive.jl)

Not entirely sure,

- [Genie Framework](http://genieframework.com/)

Is there a roadmap to get functionality à la

- WebDriver: Outdated wrapper for Python Selenium [WebDriver.jl](https://github.com/shashi/WebDriver.jl) – I use RSelenium these days
- If not mistaken Genie with other tools like eventually give
  - Shiny app like functionality
  - Hugo like functionality (Static Site Generator)

Would be nice to have current interfaces for common web API such as [Leaflet](https://github.com/yeesian/LeafletJS.jl)

In general, it seems a few projects are unmaintained and created gaps in the Web ecosystem.

I think that [Observables.jl](https://github.com/JuliaGizmos/Observables.jl/) is taking over the mind share from Reactive.jl.
Also, [Mux.jl](https://github.com/JuliaWeb/Mux.jl) seems to be used a lot (on top of HTTP) for servers.
