# Want a field signature more specific than 'Function'

@jameson recently layed out his thoughts on this [Proposal for a first-class dispatch wrapper](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/proposal-for-a-first-class-dispatch-wrapper/1127)

My understanding is that this might happen for 1.0, but it depends on how much time it takes.
