# Versioning, versioning, and tags?

Perhaps a dumb (or ill-formed) question; but what, if anything is the relationship between the `version` in `Project.toml` and the version associated with [documentation](https://juliadocs.github.io/Documenter.jl/stable/man/hosting/#Documentation-Versions) (e.g. using tags)?

More generally, I’m trying to better understand the release workflow and how versions are associated with a module, including its documentation.
