Using Emacs with Cygwin requires some careful configuration. On the other hand, I find it very useful to operate Emacs by voice. The combination of Emacs with Cygwin makes it possible.

I am putting together a guide for this purpose: [GitHub - PetrKryslUCSD/HowToUseJuliaWithCygwinEmacs: How to use Julia with Cygwin Emacs](https://github.com/PetrKryslUCSD/HowToUseJuliaWithCygwinEmacs)

It is a bit rough around the edges at the moment; It is a work in progress, and it will get better over the next couple of weeks or so.

Any and all feedback and suggestions (and or PRs) are welcome.
