I am trying out the new threading infrastructure (1.3) and have code that uses a `Timer`. It seems that the timer currently is not scheduled on a different thread than the main thread. Is there a way to change that?

Just for completeness, can you post an MWE of the code you’re running, as well as details about how you determined that it’s not running on the shared scheduler?
