# Things that are easier in Julia than Python/R etc

To be clear on this, a manifest file (i.e. `Manifest.toml`) is not something you _write_ but is automatically created by the package manager (whether you want it or not, it’s an integral part of how it works). The usefulness of the manifest depends on how you manage your environment though.
