I am making an undergraduate research in “Micromechanical modeling of geotechnical infrastructure problems” currently using the Yade software for Discrete Element method, which is implemented in C++ and uses Python scripts and I would like to know if there is any similar implementation in Julia. I found the package [Granular.jl](https://github.com/gitter-badger/Granular.jl) , but this doesn’t seem like a maintained project. There is another suggestion?

Perhaps this might help: [https://github.com/JuliaPDE/SurveyofPDEPackages](https://github.com/JuliaPDE/SurveyofPDEPackages)
There is one package on this list that might apply.
