# The One Billion Row Challenge

From the prior thread on this, the baseline could be the [duckdb entry](https://rmoff.net/2024/01/03/1%EF%B8%8F%E2%83%A3%EF%B8%8F-1brc-in-sql-with-duckdb/#optimisations) loaded into a DataFrame. Preferably with the latest dev version of duckdb because the version on the registry had an issue previously.
