My thanks to the organising committee for JuliaCon 2018
I am the same age as many of the participants there (ie north of 50) and the conference has made me feel young again. Such enthusiasm and a community which is ready to talk to anyone and answer dumb questions with patience.

It was indeed a wonderful conference. Thanks to all organizers and participants!
I was happy to see some of my projects used for stuff I hadn’t heard about at all! I hope next year will feature even more presentations that are not about packages or Base features, like Meghan Ferrall-Fairbanks’ presentation using DiffEq+JuliaML+Optim.
