I [don’t think Symbolics.jl handles general polynomial roots](https://github.com/JuliaSymbolics/Symbolics.jl/issues/59) yet. (Of course, [there is no closed-form expression for degree \> 4](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abel%E2%80%93Ruffini_theorem), i.e. for matrices bigger than 4 \times 4.)
