Hi.

Is anybody aware of any ready-made console-based learning platform (in the form of a package perhaps?) for `Julia` similar to [swirl](https://swirlstats.com/) ?

Thanks!

Alex

Yes! I think this is a very good idea! Swirl is very useful for getting acquainted with `R`. Usually, students respond positively when using it, since you don’t abandon the shell at all, while learning `R`.
Am not that experienced in `Julia` to be able to create such a tool, but if someone decides to make something similar for `Julia`, I would be happy to give feedback as to what could be more useful for students based on my experience with swirl.

Check out the [**Swirl.jl**](https://github.com/atantos/Swirl.jl) package on GitHub. It currently offers one course with a few lessons, and I hope the community will help it grow. You can use it right away from the REPL.
