# Struggles with registering a new package

Hi,

I’ve been trying to register [my first package](https://github.com/grahamstark/BudgetConstraints.jl) using [JuliaRegistries](https://github.com/JuliaRegistries). My submission was rejected by the bot because I’d [entered a dependency version number wrongly](https://github.com/JuliaRegistries/General/pull/15614). I’ve fixed this but I’m unclear what to do now - do I resubmit? Or just wait? Or give up? It just seems to be sitting there.

The package isn’t particularly profound, but I know it’s useful in my small field, so there could be a small gain to having it in the registry.

In general, if a registry PR was blocked for reasons that required changes to the repo in question, you’ll have to create a new registry PR. The registry points to a specific commit of your package, so after updating it, you’ll need to register it at a newer commit.
