# String matching in docs.julialang.org

as discussed [here](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/isstruct/40338/3), a search of [“isstruct”](https://docs.julialang.org/en/v1.4/search/?q=isstruct) shows nothing about `Base.isstructtype()`.  
maybe there’s some hidden bug in the (partial) string matching algorithm? thanks.

Knowing nothing about what is currently used, could the problem be that current search does a global alignment rather than a local one?

I mean, it could be confusing if we trust the search engine…
