# Strange performance of a loop

Hello,

just wanted to chime in. I am the starter of [The cost of size() in for-loops](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/the-cost-of-size-in-for-loops/12491). What a coincidence.

This is for me a nice opportunity to learn how to correctly use static arrays ! I would have mostly the same questions, we have also some Lennard-Jones 12-6 in the mix.
