I was looking for database integration.  
In particular Oracle and Intersystems IRIS

I would suggest joining their developer discord to ask questions (and get fast answers) @bww00.  
They’ve helped me a lot with all things Genie there and are very friendly:

However, take a look at SearchLight ([GitHub - GenieFramework/SearchLight.jl: ORM layer for Genie.jl, the highly productive Julia web framework](https://github.com/GenieFramework/SearchLight.jl)) - I think that may have what you are looking for somewhat.
