# Specifics of package development: tags and updates

I have one updated, retagged package submitted as a pull request. I have a second package that requires the updated version of the first one. Can I tag the second package and also mush it into my github fork of METATDATA and then issue a second pull request, or do I need to wait for the first one to clear?
