# Shorter email subject lines?

When I check my discourse email on my phone I don’t get much information from the subject lines, because a lot of space is taken up by the [Julia discourse][Category/Subcategory] prefix. I generally need to choose between useful subject lines (landscape) or seeing more than 2 emails at a time (portrait). Even in landscape “[Julia discourse][Domains/Optimization (Mathematical)]” is quite a mouthful.

Would it be possible to remove or shrink the prefix in the emails? I already filter them into a separate folder so the prefix isn’t useful to me, but I’d also be cool with just “[Julia]” or even [Julia/Categ…] (first few characters of the category) if people really like having that info in the subject line.
