I’ve noticed that my new M4 (which just arrived) uses a shared CPU / GPU memory (similar to the old Silicon Graphics boxes 25 years ago…). Also AMD seems to have something called ROCm

Is there a Julia way to experiment (openmp offload?) with these new/old GPU architectures?

I did quick browse of AMDGPU.jl, but it seems rather low level and does not mention shared memory. I did not find an equivalent apple package, but maybe I just dont know the right marketing speak…

Thanks for any pointers or papers

Is it not Metal.jl. ?
