# Setting the path for the precompiled .ji files

Is it possible to set the Path of the precompiled files to something different than the default DEPOT\_PATH/precompiled? I know this was possible in Julia 0.6 but haven’t found this functionality. Is this on purpose or is there a way to separate it from the DEPOT\_PATH?
