We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer who is passionate about working on open source solutions for scientific data access.

OPeNDAP is hiring a Software Developer for a NASA contract to help develop systems that work within NASA’s Earthdata Cloud software ecosystem. The candidate will play a key role across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment, for our open-source OPeNDAP data server and related projects. Although it is not specifically listed in the job description, having Julia programming skills would be a plus for this role.

Salary range is $90,000-$120,000 with generous benefits. This is a full-time fully remote position, and due to NASA requirements, the candidate must be US-based.
