I am medical professional. I am newbie in julia. My idea is to use julia for data analysis. At present I use R. I would like to appreciate any help to accomplish this. Packages, resources etc

Welcome — you can find many learning resources on [julialang.org](http://julialang.org):

> **[Get started with Julia](https://julialang.org/learning/)**
>
> The official website for the Julia Language. Julia is a language that is fast, dynamic, easy to use, and open source. Click here to learn more.

And you may find the manual chapter on notable differences from R helpful:

[https://docs.julialang.org/en/v1/manual/noteworthy-differences/#Noteworthy-differences-from-R](https://docs.julialang.org/en/v1/manual/noteworthy-differences/#Noteworthy-differences-from-R)

I’m sure you’d use lots of tools from the [DataFrames ecosystem](https://dataframes.juliadata.org/stable/), but beyond that there are _lots_ of aspects to medical data analysis and specialized tools for different subsets.

There is a Julia chat on [Zulip](https://julialang.zulipchat.com) for [health-and-medicine](https://julialang.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/237221-biology-health-and-medicine). We use [DataKnots](https://github.com/rbt-lang/DataKnots.jl) to process [FHIR](https://github.com/rbt-lang/DataKnots4FHIR.jl).

Being more specific (what kind of data analysis?) would probably lead to more specific suggestions. Data analysis _per se_ is a very broad term.

Welcome @Dr_YADEV_I As @Tamas_Papp says please tell us some more about your work.

I would add the Queryverse to the list you should look at
