TL;DR: [https://www.esciencecenter.nl/careers/research-software-engineer-software-impact-team/](https://www.esciencecenter.nl/careers/research-software-engineer-software-impact-team/)

We have opened a position (maybe more) at the Netherlands eScience Center for an RSE ([https://society-rse.org](https://society-rse.org)) working with the “Software Impact Team”.

The job post cites Julia as one of the programming language options that you must know, but we are generalists, so there is no guarantee that the job will involve Julia. Since we work with the whole center (over 60 RSEs), you frequently won’t use Julia, in fact.

That being said, I personally would like to see the Julia bus factor increase, and in the last 6 months, I had the chance to work on a few blog posts using Julia + Python vs C++ ([https://blog.esciencecenter.nl](https://blog.esciencecenter.nl)).

All the best.
