Hi all,

I’m very happy to announce that we have a job opening for a PhD student on a new research project (starting in September 2020). The topic of the work is numerical simulation of contaminant dispersion and consequence management following a chemical, biological or nuclear attack. The model will run on the cloud infrastructure of the ECMWF, to make immediate use of state-of-the-art weather forecasts as part of the model input. We aim for a Julia implementation of some dispersion- and consequence management models and the work is co-supervised by @BenLauwens (of SimJulia).
