Hey all, it would be awesome to get Julia supported in GitHub’s new Codespaces out of the box (it’s an online IDE where you can edit and program right in a repo).

If you are interested, sign up for the beta and request “Julia” under “Other”! [https://github.com/features/codespaces](https://github.com/features/codespaces)

Thanks!

I think it will have Julia support out of the box. You can just specify a docker image and what extensions you want loaded in the dev container, and that should be enough. Visual Studio Codespaces is the same thing under a different name, and it fully supports Julia.

Still very good to officially register your interest in Julia there — especially seeing as they didn’t explicitly bless it with a [\*].
