# REPLExt not found in 1.11.8

Since I upgraded to 1.11.8 from 1.11.7, I am running into this error when entering the `pkg>` mode:

```julia
% julia +1.11.8

I don’t have this. I’ve added the same packages to recreate everything, but see no error. I guess something is corrupt with your installation. Try deleting `.julia` folder and installing again via juliaup.

Edit: works both on Windows and Linux for me.

I deleted `~/.julia`, reinstalled 1.11.8 via `juliaup`, and I am still getting the error.

I have to put `using Revise` in `startup.jl` to replicate it. `EmacsVterm` is a red herring here, not needed to replication.

I do not understand where that package name and UUID is coming from.

Also, doing `import Pkg` before entering pkg mode with `]` works around the issue.
