# Rename registered package

Hi,

I am thinking about renaming a registered package (TSAnalysis.jl) to something more explicit as suggested in a [recent discussion](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/tsanalysis-time-series-analysis-and-state-space-modelling/30672/36).

I am not sure what is the latest view on that - I have seen @ChrisRackauckas’ reply at [Renaming packages?](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/renaming-packages/10433). Would you please advise me on that?

EDIT: In order to keep the current Git page for the package, I think that renaming the current repo and then create a new repo with the old name and code should also work. Has anyone tried it?
