Hi folks,

I am planning to overhaul my [RemoteFiles.jl](https://github.com/helgee/RemoteFiles.jl) package. If you are currently using the package, I would like to know which backends you are using. I am uncertain whether the different backends are still needed or could be fully replaced by Downloads.jl.

If you have any other feedback or feature requests, fire away 🕶

My plan is to include the following new features:

- Downloads.jl support
- Scratch.jl support
- Mirror URLs

Thanks in advance!

## Which RemoteFiles.jl backends are you using?

And another more specific question: Do you have problems with the cURL backend and if yes, what kind of problems?

All that I need is to make sure FTP sources work 🙂
