# Recommended replacement for Pkg.installed()

Hi,

I’m using Pkg.installed() to check if I have what I need in two different machines that run the same code.

After upgrading to julia 1.4 I get the following warning: Warning: Pkg.installed() is deprecated

But don’t see any recommendation on what to use as a replacement.

Any hint?

From this post it seems there isn’t a direct replacement:
