# Readline function problem

hi everyone,  
i have a problem with the function readline in jypyter notebook using vscode: whenever i use this function, it gives me stacktrace error. I can’t understand why because if i use it in the terminal with julia everyhing works.

It tells you that the bug is known and have been reported and you can either contribute to fix it or wait for somebody to fix it.

Does anybody have a suggestion for a workaround until this bug is addressed?
