Hello,

I’m trying to get into using a reactive web ui like Stipple.jl to create a Web UI that can control an analytical instrument. My main problem is i do not know how to keep a function running on the backend when the webpage has been closed or refreshed. (Something like a button was pressed to run a function, the function continually runs even when the page is refreshed, and even if the page is refreshed the button is marked that the function is still running.)

If anyone has any experience with this and could weigh in on how this could be accomplished id greatly appreciate it.

Best,
W
