# Quoting posts with LaTeX equations?

That is indeed not a nice feature, because the content is lost or messed up.

If one quotes one of the longest equations ever recorded in discourse (see [here](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/sinc-interpolation-based-on-fft/52512/82)), the result is totally obscene.

Better to right click on it and request to Show Math As \> TeX Commands, and then copy it, etc.
