# Quiver plot (Plots.pyplot) with different colors depending on the length of the arrow

Your last quote seems from Python.  
You may define an array of arrow lengths and feed it to `line_z` argument as done [here](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/plots-jl-assigning-seriescolor-using-colorgradient-for-line-plot/17099/9).  
Best is to post a MWE.
