# Julia for LLMs and Generative AI

I wanted to see what the community thinks about creating a dedicated LLMs and Generative AI section under the Domains category.

Working on:

- Training foundation models
- Fine tuning and alignment
- Inference and optimization
- Local LLM deployment
- GPU acceleration
- Agent systems
- RAG
- Embeddings and vector databases
- Prompt engineering
- Evaluation and benchmarking
- Multimodal models
- Julia wrappers around existing ecosystems
- New Julia-native LLM frameworks and tools
- Testing and sharing results/bug reports
- Sharing ideas and requests

Here to:

- Ask questions
- Share projects
- Announce packages
- Discuss research
- Compare approaches
- Find collaborators
- Build a stronger Julia LLM ecosystem
- **Work together on projects, PRs, plans, testing etc!**
