# Problems in installing Julia

Hi,  
I tried to install Julia; at first everything worked just fine and I downloaded notebooks and I run them. Later, when trying to open Julia an error popped up (unfortunalety I have no screenshot of that, but it was saying something like “the code cannot be run because libjulia.li cannot be found”). I tried to uninstall it and install it again but now now the error doesn’t even pop up and Julia doesn’t start. Can you help me with that? I have a Windows pc,

How did you install Julia? There are different ways to do that, see:

Did you use the MSIX App installer? Or did you use the Microsoft Store?

Or did you run:

```julia-auto
winget install --name Julia --id 9NJNWW8PVKMN -e -s msstore

```

in the terminal?

If you type `juliaup` in the terminal, what is the output?
