I mostly use Windows and VSCode when using Julia. I am familiar with Ubuntu.

I have a Raspberry Pi 4 with 8 Gig of RAM and an MCC\_172 HAT, which I am working on getting accessible to Julia.

So far I have used Raspbian 32 bit. It is time switch to 64 bit. The MCC library says it works with Linux and Raspbian. Using VSCode would certainly be convenient. I am wondering what people’s experience with different operating systems on the Raspberry Pi has been to give me some direction.

Typically distributions for interactive usage are some variant of Linux, so whichever you prefer will be fine for Julia. I would stick with Raspbian or Ubuntu.
