# Policies around registering AI-created packages in General?

People in a specific community have to abide by the agreed upon [rules](https://github.com/JuliaRegistries/General#is-there-any-policy-regarding-the-use-of-llms-in-registered-packages). It’s not clear to me how that has anything to do with open source
