Hi! I’m trying to install Pluto, following [https://youtu.be/OOjKEgbt8AI](https://youtu.be/OOjKEgbt8AI) . After the “add Pluto” command, a yellow warning appears reading “Warning: could not download [http://pkg.julialang.org/registries.](http://pkg.julialang.org/registries.)” Then it looks like the video, displaying the green words, but when it comes to “Downlading” some red error appears.

I tried deleting Julia and redownload it, but nothing changed. I even tried activating a new environment but neither that worked.

Have you tried deleting the `.julia` folder, i.e. the folder where the Julia configuration / data is stored (not the Julia installation folder)?

Yes I’ve tried that too. Today I found the solution to my problem. If anyone else is having the same error, see the answer here [Installing Pluto: Precompiling failed](https://discourse.julialang.org/t/installing-pluto-precompiling-failed/50426)
