# Plots.jl / GR: Specify colors for multiple series

I want to plot two series and I want to specify a color for each of them. How do I do this? This code:

```julia
plot([1:10, 2:11], markershape=:circle, color=[:red, :blue])

```

Does _not_ do what I want:

Series are generally treated column-by-column:

```julia
plot([1:10 2:11], markershape=:circle, color=[:red :blue])

```
