# PhD position on scientific ML of soil organic carbon in Germany

Hey everyone who is interested in scientific machine learning!

At the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry in Jena, Germany, we offer a PhD position that will use the SciML ecosystem to combine ‘process-based and deep learning models to understand the dual role of microbes as decomposers and stabilizers of soil carbon’.
