# Permissions for Registrator in JuliaHub

_Why does the Registrator need to have write access to every repository in my organization?_  
I can understand read access for the stated purpose “to determine whether you are a contributor of this package.”

I can’t imagine how my organization’s admin could responsibly grant write access this broad to to any external organization.
