# Permission denied

I have followed the above steps but still get this error message. The link says that you have to change the julia path, which I did, but I still get an error message. Does anyone know how I can solve this?

I’m not a mac user, but from the installation instructions on the Julia website here it sounds like you should be running some `.app` file rather than the `.dmg` file?

If you have executed the `.dmg` file and copied the Julia application into the `Applications` folder, you will find the Julia binary here: `/Applications/Julia-1.6.app/Contents/Resources/julia/bin/julia` . That’s what you want to put in the Juno settings.
